I have converted to disc brakes on my 65 Ford f-100. The rotors are from a 73 F-100. What wheels will fit the front? Is it the same bolt pattern 5.5 as the rear? I know I will have to have diff. wheels for the front, because of the disc brakes. Also the grill from a orig. 65,did any of the 66 come out with them?
First and foremost, welcome to FTE. Made same upgrade on 65 F100 from 76 donor and found the bolt pattern same, don't know if the stock rims would be a problem because rims on my 65 are not stock, had to take front rims and have them turned because the hub on the disc brakes are larger. They do not reproduce the 65 grill, there is a 66 reproduction and some use it as a replacement. I have the anodized alum grille and took a 'poor mans' steps to recondition it. Just as a side note, take care of those front fender I-Beam emblems because no longer make the 65 and Ford parts supplier's offer the 66 as a replacement.
Antony, The 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern was used from the mid 50s to 96, so your front and back should both be the same. I have run after market or late model wheels for so long that I forgot about issues with them fitting over the rotors.
You will only run into much trouble if you want original style rims with the bottlecap hubcaps. You CAN make it work, but there are some tight spots on the calipers that need grinding off, and the grease cap will extend too far, which keeps the hub caps from fitting. You can do like I did and made a hole in an old dinged up hab cap. Looks OK from a distance.

If you have the 73 wheels you should be ok.

Does 5.5 mean 5 1/2 from center to center of bolt hole
Does 5.5 mean 5 1/2 from center to center of bolt hole
Antony, It is a little unusual the method used. 5 on 5.5 can be measured this way. Place your tape measure against the edge of the hole, bypass the next hole, and measure to the center of the second hole. It's center to edge of second hole or edge to center of second hole.
Try measuring the lugs on your truck, I think that might help. Find where 5 1/2 in. is.
