Are you getting an SES light? Where you getting one before with the old sensor? Have you checked HPOP pressure at WOT?
I'll check back if you have more questions.
Bob
I was getting an SES light with the old sensor going up steep hills at WOT empty. It got more frequent towards the end. After the new sensor, I have yet to get an SES light.
I have not checked the HPOP pressure at WOT.
Can a bad ICP sensor jack with the trip confuser? Used to read 20mpg and around 16 (waaaay more realistic) with the new sensor.
How do I get my low end back. Like I said, it sounds healthier and shifts healthier but I'd like that zip back.
Resistors can go bad, you can check it with an ohm meter, also make sure your connections are good and clean that can affect the resistance. Bad connection/bad resistor would make it run in the default mode.
So..... shouldn't I be able to unplug the harness and compare that with how it ran with the old sensor? How unreliable is the trip computer? It was reading 20+mpg before the sensor change. Thanks!!!!!
