Scott,

Get the codes pulled and post them or do a search here and usually the diagnosis is spot on.

I've had a similar problem and was thinking tune up as well but it's getting much worse and the ses light kinda has me thinking cats too. Wish it was just a tune up, anyway I have a scanner and it isn't receiving any juice from the obd2 port. Bad news, so I can't even look up my codes. So my question would be is their anything I can do to see if it is the cats short of putting holes in them or ripping them off completly. Would hitting them with a hammer or something like that help out at all?

There's nothing wrong with your cats, yet. Forget that idea. Of course, if you don't fix the misfire, you will have dead cats...

98% likely you have a simple misfire. You just need to put a proper scan tool on it instead of that POS tuner. The last two of those "codes" are bogus....

As for the noob with a dead OBD-II port, you probably have a blown fuse that runs either the cigar lighter or the aux power port, depending on which year you have (which you didn't identify....).

There are dozens of posts in this and the 97-03 forum about how to figure it out. The engines are the same, everything applies.. Look especially for posts by jbrew or myself.

It's an 01 4.6 awd! I'll try and check through some fuses though. Good call.
