yesterday we were going through some brush and I tore my dang tire on a tronko. That tree truck sliced the tire like butter. It was because my turn needed to be wider to miss it.Anyway my tire was a widetrack baja a/t,so the tires cheap.Compared to others.I now have two questions.
#1:would a better tire have handled the trunk or would I still be screwed and have to pay more for a better replacement tire,if it ward to happen on say, a bfg a/t.My old man said I would have gone through a 10 ply tire but he exadurates.
#2:Now that Im bying tires I considering buying new tires all together. My question is do the bfg muds look like the widetrack muds. They look pretty dang similar but as far a construckion.
Thanks for any input.I ain't that smart about tires,so the anseres are appreciated. All i know is tires are needed to roll.I think this is gods way of sayin get mud tires but no one is taking me seriouly at my house after yesterday.Even the horses were laughing. So was my son after he cleaned out his underwear.Big hissing sound. It souned like the rattler from hell.Sorry so long.I just though yall might wanna laugh too.

Yes, it would have punctured any tire. I have a set of mickey baja's get torn by a culvert once, the same culvert has eaten BFG's, coopers, and the other cheap tires used out there.
