<TABLE><TBODY><TR><TD vAlign=top width="100%">My, name is Tony and I'm new the the forum world so bare with me...I have a Ford Industrial 534 cu in engine in an old fire truck. Currently the engine is locked up, but ran fine just three years ago. I am in the process of freeing it up and was wondering if anyone could tell me the year of this engine, or any specs. The numbers on the ID plate on block are Serial#: 8088-L10KH and Type #: B8PN-6003A and 534 cu.in. Are parts still available, etc.

That number is not showing up in my parts book. Maybe my book is wrong? Anyway, the 534 was made from approximately 1958 to 1981 with some cylinder head improvements made at about 1976. (I believe) Parts are available from most auto part stores, albeit pricey. If your local auto part store will not order these, do a google search for northern auto in Iowa.
