set up question?
hey guys
my buddy has an 07 F-150 2wd with the 5.4 He recently purchased the K&N intake 63 series?? magna flow exhaust and bought a superchip fast pack? this is what he told me over the phone. I guess his superchip has a lot of different tranny settings, rev limiter , power levels, etc etc....... Basically he's trying to set it up for better fuel economy yet with a little power. Is this possible? or how are you guys setting up your superchips?

i run on my fx4 a cold air intake, flowmaster, and diablosport tuner. i run the tuner on the 87 octane setting and the diffrences are suttle but they are there. my throttle response is outstanding now and the shifting is a hell of alot faster and stiffer. as for the gas miliage, if your foots in it you will loose on the gas but regular driving you will get about 15 or 16 per mile. in my own opinion though, people shouldnt buy a v8 thinking of gas miliage as real important. dont get me wrong gas is high but if you want the power then you have to sacrifice miliage. if gas miliage is a real concern and you want a truck, go for a deisel.

you know what your totally right. My buddy just got a fat check so the first thing he did was go buy everything they tried to sell um at some parts store.... He has no clue how to use his chip he's confused with all the settings n stuff I just want everybodys opinion about these products especially if your using them so I could help out my buddy.
