no brake lights

no brake lights

hey guys, I have a 1964 f-100 stepside and we have tried everything we can think of but still no brake lights.
we have head lights, blinkers in the front tail lights but no brake lights. any idea what the problem might be? this has my 13 yr old brain confused.

Do the rear blinkers work? The rear blinkers and the rear brakelights use the same bulbs and wiring.

And the rear running lights do work correct? That's a different circuit though.
