Powerstroke heads on IDI?

I have a 7.3 IDI, and there is a guy wanting to sell a power stroke for cheap, everything works but the block is cracked, do IDIs and Powerstrokes use the same blocks? could I do a top end swap?, it would be awesome if I could, then my truck would be turbo and have electronic injection.

And you would have a major headache before you got it to run.
Wiring, lots of wiring just to get it started.
Sensors everywhere, fly by wire throttle, computer.

The electronic injection system is not a big enough improvement to justify the increaced cost or complexity.
