please help with clutch sizes
hey guys whenever i pulled the clutch out of my 1993 f-250 i had a single mass flywheel with a 12 1/4 inch clutch. I wanna put a 12inch clutch in my truck. My question is will a 12 inch clutch fit onto my 12 1/4 flywheel? I also had another single mass flywheel that had a 11 inch flywheel and pressure plate on it. I noticed that a gas 12 inch pressure plate would bolt up to the 11 inch flyhweel. and work but yeah its a gass pressure plate not a diesel one. Now my question if i bought a diesel clutch and pressureplate (12 inch) would it work on either one of my flywheels? The reasion i wanna go with a 12 inch flywheel is because the type clutch i want they only make up to a 12 inch they dotn make 12 1/4.
