problems starting

my truck will barely turn over like dead batteries however when i check voltage both read 12.7V

Any help I would appreicate

take your batteries out and have them independently load tested.this is the true way to tell if a battery is ok.and always replace them as a pair

Well, if it will start, I would take it to a local parts store or Wally and have a load test. They may have a surface charge but not enough reserve. The first test is load testing the batteries. The truck needs 10.5volts to start. How old are the batteries? Have you checked the voltage at the batteries while someone cranks it?

Anyway, any of the above places will load test your batteries for free.
