Get some gloves, or when it cools, do some wiggle testing on the injector harnesses, all the IDM wiring, the GEM, well, about everything you can get to. Also, make sure all of your fuses are good. The #30 seems to come to mind. You may have an intermittant fuse connection with a good fuse. I didn't like the sound of that SES light fuel gauge thing either. Are you getting WTS lights and all the normal ones when keying on?

Unfortunately, no. But I think I could lay hands on a hauler in fairly short notice. Let me know -- Gainesville is only about 45 minutes north of me.

Got the names of 2 mechanics and the local ford house. I'm starting to wonder if I won't have to take it to the ford house. Too many mechanics today can only fix what the computer tells them to.

All light come on as they should. I've been wiggling everything I can reach. The only thing out of place was the power steering cap which I blew off trying to get into the parking lot.

Hey Izzy: Do you know any good repair shops by your house? The city of Gainsville is currently closed for lunch. I'd feel better knowing it was fixed right, but I don't want to put you out if your busy.

Let me make some phone calls, and get back with you here. I've never had anything done to my truck except by the dealer or myself. BTW, the wife is still out with my truck anyway.... Once again, she took mine when she has a perfectly capable truck less than two years old in the garage after griping about me getting a diesel...

I've got gremlins. Gave up on the truck. Had a bite to eat. Came out and tried to start it for the h*** of it and it fired right up. Anyone know a way home with no bumps?

Man I hope you can get it home. Like mentioned, if it is not throwing a code, the mechanics will be reduced to looking around, just like you can do. Might as well do that yourself.

I agree with Mike. No codes so you might as well wiggle and jiggle as much as you can before paying a mechanic $90/hr to do the same thing.
