I just bought a new 11x26 metal lathe from Grizzly Industrial. Anyone have any experiance with their metal working equipment? My lathe should be here next week. I plan to buy me a mill in a few months.

 

No personal experience, but I lurk on CNC Zone a lot and people seem to be getting good service from them.

 

Thanks, thats helpful. I will post what I think about it when it arrives. I called them today to get a tracking number and was advised that it was scheduled for pick up either this afternoon or in the morning and would take about 5 buisness days to get here.

 

I got my lathe in today. Boy that SOB (swell old boy) was heavy. It seems to run well and every thing runs out true as best as I can tell. I will know after I use it for a while. I got the stand with it also. After putting the stand together I am glad I bought it. I would have had to build a heavy duty stand to put it on.
