New winch pullys

so I made three of these for my winch, my uncle has a metal lathe so he helped me turn the pully. there is a better description in my gallery (twin stick)

None, I just packed them with good grease, I tried one out today and it worked well, I didn't think that 15 or so RPM would warrant going to a bearing, as often as I use it I'll just repack if necessary.

Use a good grade 8 bolt? wouldnt want that thing coming out of there.

LOL - I must need more coffee, took me a minute to figure out why you had it on the hub.

I like the little standoffs, I have collapsed the winch plates on one pulley because it did not have them.

I agree, no bearing needed, I just throw a little bit of blue wheel bearing grease on mine with just bolts and it does fine.

Looks a lot beefier then the whimpy $60 stuff they sell with C-clips holding the halves together in the 4x4 catalogs!

Yeah, I just figured a 16.5 wheel was a good size indicator. I have three of them that would have cost me minimum $150, besides I think mine are better than the average 4x4 style.

What would be the proper name for these? Pulley, ****** block? or something else? does it depend on what buisiness you are in? hooker bob would know, anybody?

****** block or pulley, they are listed both ways in the towing catalogs I get.
