86 F350 460 replacement

Hello all, I'm hoping someone can tell me if a 460 from a 91 F350 will bolt right in to our 86 F350? Thanks! Mary

Yes, it will physically interchange but the intake will also have to be changed because the '91 is EFI.

86 F350 460 replacement

You might be better off swapping out the long block portion of the engine and using the external components off of the original truck. Someone with more experience might be able to tell you if the newer heads will accept the older manifold.
