Duallys And Sand...

Heading to the Outer Banks, NC in a couple of weeks. I am wondering if I will have any problems with my dual wheel 4x4 in the sand. I had a single rear wheel truck 4x4 a few years ago and let air down to about 20 lbs. and it did fine. This will be my first trip with this truck..hope it's not like a "bobsled" in the sand. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!http://campaigns.ford-trucks.net/for...cons/icon7.gif

Oh man I love the outer banks....haven't been out there in years.

Can't say as I've ever driven a dually in the sand, but I imagine airing down will be what keeps it afloat.

If anything, I'd think a dually would do better on sand... more surface area (that's the whole point of airing down, isn't it?).

Thanks guys for the lift. Man, that is an awesome pic of the Big Blue Oval tuggin' the stuck Chevys! Hopefully I won't have to get one of the Chevys or Dodges pull me out...I'd rather walk!
