Shifting problem
I have a 1990 ranger with a 4.0 auto 2wd. It drives nice but it will only shift if you let off the gas. It downshifts nice, it just wont upshift. Ive replaced the fluid, filter, modulator, and vacum line, and no difference. I tested the vacuum at the manifold and its putting out 20Hg which is good. What else can cause this? It makes no noises otherwise.
