I have General Grabber AT2's on my truck, I haven't had any problems with them yet, a very good AT tire, check'em out I have a picture mounted on the truck in my galley photos.
i have those mounted on rims to use as snow tires for my mother-in-laws 95 2wd ranger. work like a charm.
I may be in the minority, but I wasn't thrilled with the B-stone A/T Revos. They were fairly long wearing (I've got about 37k on mine now) but I never felt that they were quite as good overall as the BFG A/T's. The BFGs lasted about 65k miles (could've gotten another 5k 'cept the missus picked up a piece of steel in the road, puncturing 1 tire) and were superior in snow, wet roads and lateral traction on dry pavement whereas I never felt the Revos were very strong in these areas. Given the price difference, I wish I'd got with the BFGs again.
For my next tire (and as much as I love the BFGs, I'm only doing this to satisfy my curiosity) is going to be the new General AT2 which I've read is a pretty damn good tire....and costs approx $80 each less per tire than the BFGs.
Just had 285/70/17's BF A/T TA's installed from the Wranglers and I love these tires. Hardly any tire noise on the highway and I can't wait to do some off roading with these. No interferance whatsoever, even with the air suspension.
Truck sits about an inch higher and the speedo is only about 5km's out. No change in mileage so I would highly recommend going with this size of tire. I will post pics today if I have the chance.
I have Nitto Terra Grapplers. They are great and cheaper than a BFG AT. I go off road on the beach here a lot and don't have any problems. I've liked them so much my brother has gotten them for his 05 F350, and Jeep Cherokee. Friends have them on their Dodge 3500 and F150.
How would you say your MPG's are effected with the Nitto's? I like the look of the tire, the side wall has a more aggressive look, but the tire looks ready for the pavement (which is what I'm on 99% of the time). The infor on the website looks good - http://www.nittotire.com/#index%2Etire%2Eterragrappler - but of course that's their sales pitch...
Thanks, I just saw someone else post something about mileage and it got me thinking...
