2005 f-150 exhaust tips

2005 f-150 exhaust tips
hi yall, i just put dual exhaust (summit) on my 05 f-150...4x4 and so on, just wondering what the best exhaust tips to put on it, its a 2 1/2 inch tail pipe, i have had the chrome tips from auto parts stores in the past, and they dont last long before the chrome starts to flake, any suggestions would be appreciated,

I personally like the long wide tips 22-18" long, and about 3.5"-4" wide. They make the exhaust deeper and meaner, to me anyway. I also like the angled straight cut(no rolled).
You could try going to a local muffler shop and ask i you could buy two tips form one of them, and I'm sure(if they have them), they will sell them at a decent price(cheaper than auto parts store, and higher quality). Stainless Steel tips would always be an option, and from what I remember seeing, they aren't a whole lot more $$$ than regular chromes.

I had the Magnaflow SS tips hung on my '05. They are 2.5, but now I wish I would have went bigger and longer. So does my wife... hahahahaha
