Wow that's pretty incredible. Maybe it does know or like the article said it likes the electric blankets. Who knows?

Cats are gross. People who have cats have boxes of cat **** in their homes. Who the hell wants a stinky old cat waving his butt hole in your face when you're about to die?

I saw that story on the news last night. It's probably able to smell something in the patient.

If I was there I'd make sure that cat stayed away from me...

Maybe the cat decides who he doesn't like and then he "finishes them off" in his own secret way.

Sure has potential for a very cruel practical joke.

It would be interesting. They'll have to find a way to scientifically test it. It could be something as simple as the cat likes the warmth of the blankets. Not like cats are self-centered ya know. But I admit, it would be nice to have a heads up so you can spend time with your loved one.
Regarding not wanting it near you, an article I read about him stated that most of the residents at the home are too far gone by the time he picks them to be aware of his presence. One family did ask that he be removed from the room.
I wonder how long it will be before some moron who fears death omens, if that is in fact what Oscar is, or thinks he's the devil's cat tries to be his harbinger of death.

I remember when I was little, there were still people who would not allow a cat in the
house when there was a baby, for fear the cat would steal the babys' breath, and
suffocate them. Imagine people needing something like that to be afraid of around the
time of the Cuban missile crisis.

Too many rude and foolish comments for me to even get too involved here. I like the cat. You can make up any kind of "story" you want..and I know that many will.. just becaue they're cat haters.

Like my grandfather used to say.... Never trust a man who hates cats. And I never will.
Gotta be something missing in their hearts or heads.

Now.. that's all I gotta say and I'll stand by it till my own last breath.

Which ones do you consider rude and foolish? I don't know if you consider mine to be or not, it may be a little "foolish", but I was just joking....for all I know websthes was too....nothing to get upset over.
