Jacobs or MSD????

I have a 92 V8 351 F250 4X4 with 35in Mud Terr. and I was wondering which ignition is better Jacobs Omni magnum or MSD 6A? I know that the Jacobs is twice as expensive but is it better?

Look at the Crane Hi-6. Personally, I think it's better than either of them. Same price as the MSD.

My MSD installed very easily, and the MPG gains are very noticable. I was getting up to 9 MPG, then a couple of weeks later I recorded 13.7 MPG. By the way, the 9 MPG was recorded after driving it like a little old lady. The 13.7 was after I started having the fun, believe me, I was extremely surprised to see my gas lasted that long after driving it so hard! After I close the gap on my plugs some... had 'em at .060 just for kicks, I'll get even more performance and better gas mileage.

If your engine is optimally tuned, either ignition system will work just fine. You won't feel any SOTP (seat of the pants) difference between the two.
Both will enhance your performance from stock ignition.
(increased throttle response, MPG,cleaner plugs).

Mostly just a brand preference.
