machine shop work
I am replacing a 302 with a 351W. The 351 has 90k, was in a same yr truck & running fine with the exception of fouling a plug. I know I need a valve job, but how much more? (This is a daily driver, not a project) How much should I expect to pay & how much machine work should I have done? Thanks. Tim

is it oil fouling or gas fouling? oil foul will be gunked up more. if it is oil fouling, you probably have ring and piston problem. gas fouling could be from bad spark!! do a compression check.
