I must clarify, Mississippi does not require steel shot (YET) for Dove either, even though they are migratory birds, but I predict it is coming as soon as the Federale's run out of something to regulate.

Skeet Shooting: Want to "smoke' the competition? Get yourself a black powder shotgun like a Winchester Model 1887 12 gauge lever action. Load it with Navy Arms black powder shells, and blast away. It won't be long before anyone next you either gives up or moves...far away. They'll be lucky to see anything much less hit anything!

wlihntr - I'm quite familiar w/ the 5100. Feels good and shoots the same. When you want to get rid of it let me know. Otherwise- those guns are going for $$$$ at gun shows. Depending on the load, it will take down almost anything if the shot is puy on target - short or long distance.

I'll stick with Remingtons. I've taken my 870 hunting, second season deer, every year since I was 15. Its never failed to fill the tag. I bought a 1100 just to have, i may take it this season.
