what are we talking about again, i got lost.
This is cracking me up. Chris these guys are not old at heart I've found. The car conversation is still like when I was 16. Feel free to bring a couple friend if you like. We still talk about cars, sex, drugs, and women. The only thing different is nowadays is our perception of these topics. ;-) It changes a bit as you get older .... except the cars and women.
The only difference is these guys know a lot more about these things now (cars and drugs - not sure about women)
I'm learning a bunch. No worries, I still water ski, swim and have fun. But, I am begining to think these guys are afraid of the water.
BTW - I think you'll find that this isn't a heavy drinking crowd. Some don't drink at all..... No worries there .... It's quite acceptable in this crowd to be a non-drinker. It generally just tires us old farts out in the sun. And it's like we can't afford any more winkles .... Lol !!!
Ya know, we could move it to the Resevoir, but then that would cost everyone a few extra bucks for a daypass or overnight pass, plus...unless you're in the water it's just too hot there anyways...but if you guys want to change the venue, I'm cool with that.
Unfortunately, Woodward dosn't take reservations, first come, first served.
And AJ, what I remember about sex, drugs,Rock and Roll and the women I used to date?
My cars were faster, the women were all 10's, ofcourse the Rock was better, but because of the drugs, I don't remember much of it anyways
I appreciate the offer Dan but I'm not sure if I'm planning on attending yet, although now you guys are starting to sway me . I'll keep ya'll posted as the date approaches.
Tell you what Chris, if I end up going, I'll give you a ride.
There... I think all your excuses just went down the drain.

Sorry, this is one place I draw the line - I will not eat where the cooks think clothing is optional!
As for remembering our youth (maybe that is why I require cooks to be fully dressed!) - you have to remember when we grew up - if we ever have!
If you can remember the 60's and 70's, you didn't grow up then! About all I remember is Red Mountain Wine ($1.25 a gallon and you were feeling fine!!!) And beer cans with pop tops. You gave the girls your pull tab and they made love chains . . . . .
Cook bear, or cook bare? Now that would be a good idea as long as the bare cook cooking bear meat was a female and not married to any of the people that are attending the gathering. Would not want to start a fight.
Don't matter much to me as to where the meet is, however, I don't know where the reservoir is. Of course, not having been at Mike's place yet I don't know where that is either.
It is easy enough to find - Mike is just west of the reservoir, and the reservoir is just east of Mike's. Both are east of 99, south of Sacramento and north of Fresno!
Mike's house will be the one with all the screaming kids running wild in the field, and all the Ford trucks in the front yard.
btw, just for Jag Red, the neighbor just south of Mike has an original, unrestored 1955 4 door in his driveway.
A good set of Red Neck directions. . . . . we will leave the light on for you.
Clint, you forgot something in your directions. When you're going to Mike's, you are going to make a left then after a while make a right. Maybe that only applies to us coming from the bay area though.
