My 2001 X has a Audiovox counsel that runs from the front to the back. Does anyone have one of these units? Mine needs repaired? I need replacement parts including the player that is under the passengers front seat. It has a stuck CD in it and won't work at all and does have power to it. Where can I send it to be repaired? It is a Audiovox MVDVD4 unit. Some of the hinges are broke on the flip down panels can you buy replacement units? Do any of you guys have the installation manual for this unit? I need a copy with the part numbers. Thanks for the help. Ron

 

Kind of a long shot posting here. Someone may have one but they may not have the repair parts you need.

Best bet would be to Google "Audiovox MVDVD4". I did and got over 5700 hits. Start your search for repair parts there. Good luck to ya!

I'd replace it. You can find the "slave" DVD units all the way down to $79 and maybe less. Obviously that's a cheap one. My kids would not tolerate the time ot would take to send off for repair. Buy the time you pay for shipping back and forth along with the bill to repair I bet you can get a new one for cheaper.
