I want to buy a roll pan and a hidden hitch for my next project. I have been searching the internet for roll pans and have boiled it down to two differnt roll pans. One is from Cervini's Auto, the other is from Lund. I will post links to both pans, but there differnces are small, but i am leaning towards the Lund. Anyway, my question is, in order to make the roll pan looks its best, I need to replace my current hitch with a hidden hitch that will compliment its new look. I was curious, will the "hidden hitch" hide itself any better than the one i have now? I just got the other one last year when i bought the truck, and i hate ot have to replace it, but thats what moddifiers do, they modify. So, I didnt know if any of you have done this either. Its a 1995 F350. Thanks guys any input would be nice.
I'm getting ready to do the same thing.
I have a rollpan that I bought used and it has a hole in it behind were the license plate goes.
I think you get a spring loaded plate mount and the plate flips up or down so you can put the hitch ball in the receiver.
This way the hitch is totally hidden. That's the way I understand it anyway.
I will have to get the new hitch and get rid of my other one.
Well I havent been able to find that roll pan with the flip lisence plate, but i did however order the Lund Roll pan and hope that it fits with the hitch i have now. good luck man with yours
nice find man! Too bad for me tho, I have the F350, so I need a 12,000 hitch. I am just going to have to hope my hitch leaves enuff room for the roll pan to fit.
Ya,,I went ahead and ordered it all.I don't toe much with my truck so it should work out ok for me.
Good luck with your pan. If your hitch is down under the bumper now you should be able to get the rollpan on there ok.
on the flip up license plate, i went to junk yard and got one from a 1970s model car that had a gas tank filler in the rear, but that was a few years and they have probly sent a lot of them to crushers, i think that they charged me like five bucks or something,

Hay good idea, I bet that would work out ok. Pretty much the same thing.
Well when i got my truck back finally from the body shop, I was slightly dissapointed when i saw how exposed the hitch was with the roll pan. So as a alternative option i had the hitch painted the same color as the truck and bam, it came out smoking, pics soon!
