Mileage help
I just got back from camping with the family. I was towing a camping trailer weighing about 4000lbs, and there wasn't many hills. I was only getting wbout 10 mpg, using the Tow safe on my superchips tuner. On the way home I'm crusing down the road and the truck starts to cut out, I'm out of fuel and the guage shows 1/4 tank. The low fuel light never came on, and I always drive easy. I never go over 70 and try to keep it under 2k rpms. I need some help, I have run out of fuel to many times. I run Diesel Kleen every tank or so, and only get about 13 mpg while driving around town. What can I do to improve mileage and fix the fuel gauge problem?

yea i had a similar prob except my guage stoped near full and i try and keep the truck filled up but some how it didnt click that I drove so far, and ran out of fule, to fix it I had to get a new/used pickup/sender thing that goes in the tank ford wants 400 or so for a new one but i picked up one out of a wrecked truck for 80
