i currently have a 85 f-150 with an inline six. i have a 87 302 efi motor i want to put in its place. would it be easier to keep the efi or make the 302 a carb. motor. i would also like to know if or what all i have to change if anything like oil pan, motor mounts etc.

You will want to post your question in the tech forums since this one is use for introductions. Just click on the Forums tab at the upper left and scroll down through them. You'll find the one for your truck and there is another for the 302. I recommend staying with the EFI. It's too good to pass up.
