Anyone know where I can buy a replacement info center? I'm talking of the temperature, mileage, direction digital readout thing that is in the console in the ceiling.
I can see that two of the resistors (I think that's what they're called) are flipped up but I can't get anyone to solder them and I suck at soldering small things like that.
So, I'm hoping someone can direct me to where I might find a replacement one of those (the actual circuit board/readout piece).
Really? That would be great if you would be so kind. I'll compensate you for your time, regardless of whether it can be fixed or not.
I'll PM you my email address. Shoot me an email and I'll get your address.
Oh, FYI to F250tuff, thanks for the suggestion. I tried that but I've realized there aren't many places like that around here that will do it. I've tried about 6 different places and either they wouldn't touch it, or they wanted to charge like $60.
FYI and I don't want this to come off sarcastic but even a ebay unit runs 300.00 The replacement oem is over 400. So 60.00 don't seem to bad to me.... Cours for the cost of shipping is even better.
try to find the same thing but for an excursion. i bought one from ebay that was still new in the box. i paid $58. check the retail.... its about $3000. yes three thousand...if i remember right... i then sold it really quick for $800.
