I believe at Napa the part number is 46637. It was originally engineered for a cummins 5.9B motor that was used in industrial air compressors and also mobile generators, so it is intended for dusty areas. But it was also intended to be placed in a canister type intake. All that being said would I give mine up? NOPE, it does just fine under my hood. My first one went for 1 year and 38K miles before I changed it.

I did the 6637 and the straight pipe at the same time, and I can tell you that the two together made HUGE differeance in spool up of the turbo. Much quicker. Using my military vehicle diaggnostics kit, I actually measured the Vacum at the filter, and the backpressure before the muffler and noticed a max of about 1" of vacum on the OEM filter, and somewhere near 10psi prior to the OEM muffler. I have since lost the actual numbers, but those are close. One undesirable side effect of the 6637 though is you will get surge if you are towing between about 13-18psi. I did a wicked wheel and that fixed my surge. Some have to replace the turbo housing with a proted unit, or an ATS.
