6637 air filter EASY QUESTION

Just an easy question. Can you get this filter at a local AutoZone store, if so do you just ask for the filter by that name? Or is this something i would have to order online?

and is there any noticeable power increase or sound increase?

any help would be helpfull thank you.

Your stock air box is a piece of crap. The reason for the 6637 is because of its superior filtering, much better than stock. It will whistle loud because its not in a box, the filter also allows the truck to get as much air as your truck will ever need. That blow off sound is boost going back through the intake and filter. When you install the 6637 and you get on it hard and let up right before the shift you will here it also. Best place to get the filter is fleetfilter.com or napa. Autozone will probably not have it since it is for a generator or something wierd. I dont remember whats its from.

I went to the counter at NAPA and asked for the filter part #6637 and they came out with the filter. $50.00 with tax. I started using DIESEL KLEEN and the 6637 at the same time and got 1.5 mpg increase. Easy install.

I got mine from fleet filters for 30 bucks shipped, I love the sound it has everytime I let off the throttle or shift just right, that and a foil delete really helped my whistle.

If you have an O'Reillys, they have it a bit cheaper under the Wix part number. I paid ~$38 for mine there.

Seems like fleetfilter.com still has about the lowest price going.
