fuel problem

i have a 1996 e 350 power stroke diesel ext van it starts missing jerking and dies. then it wont start .the last it done this it would not start for two days i put new cps on it still does the same thing please help if you can .i'am at wits end i been riped off two times at dealers and it still does the same thing. i don't understand why ford cant figer it out please help if you can

kind of vague we really need a bit more info, any codes in the processor? it sounds like either high pressure oil related or a fuel problem, does it smoke before it dies or just runs like crap and stalls?

if i had to take a guess from your post i would say you definitely have a fuel problem. like your running out of it. is your van full? changed the filter recently?
if thats not it i would be looking at wiring or the idm.
