I had a quick question...my dad got offered a 99 f350 with 77k miles 2wd for 12k...now I want to know what the difference is between early 99 and late 99 because I see some people state 99.5 which makes me think of any possible problems? Any help would be greatly appreciated and relayed to my father.I dont know if it is the early 99 or late 99 because i cant get a hold of my father..

the early 99 had a smaller turbo, smaller injectors, smaller hpop. If you had the two and you drove them both stock, you probably would not notice a different. A late 99 is just when they put the larger injectors turbo and hpop like the 2000+ ones.
