console changes over the years question
Does anyone know if the height of an expedition console has increased from 1997 (captains chairs with armrests) to 2001 (no longer have armrests on the front bucket seats)? I ask due to Ford removing the arm rests on newer front seats...Did Ford increase the height of the console to make up for the removed arm rests?

My sister has a '99 and I have an '00. I have never measured but they appear about the same height, if mine is higher it's not by much. The big diff is the width. My console is considerably wider than hers to make up for the missing arm rests.
