What do you guys think about Lucas products in the PSD.i need to change my flluid in my rear diff. I have used Lucas gear oil in the rear diff of my ranger with no problems. Also does the 10.25 diff with limited slip require a friction modifier if i use Lucas? Im thinking in my ranger i didnt use it and it was a LS also. What about other Lucas products. I really like the fuel treatment in the gas engines. How about the oil treatment in the PSD?
I use Lucas in my Road King in the crankcase and it works well. I dont know why you couldnt add it to your diffs. I used Shell the last change with the Motorcraft modifier for limited slip diffs. I am pretty sure you need the modifier even if you use Lucas.

I like and use Lucas Injector cleaner and tranny stabilizer. The additive for engines and gear boxes seem to foam up, not good for our injection system. It made mine run/idle poorly. I didn't wait to see what it was doing to my differntial, I changed it after a few thousand miles with Mobile 1 Syn 75-140. On advice from my buddy, I added 8 oz's of friction modifier even though the Mobile 1 has cpmes with it. He runs the axle dyno for Tra-Tech (Detroit Locker).
