Just read ther article in the latest Diesel Power magazine on the ATS tranny; IN ARVADA COLORADO. Sounds like a pretty good tough tranny. I would like to hear from people who have these trannies and what kind of luck everyone has had (good or bad). Problems, warranties, service work etc.
Yeah, I live 40 minutes from them, and I bought a BTS transmission instead.
There's several horror stories of ATS not honoring the warranty, and the lack of customer service. And there are some folks out there running an ATS transmission who are perfectly happy. I decided to go with the overwhelming support and loyalty from BTS customers. www.brianstruckshop.com

I don't have either one, but this is the same as what I have heard, BTS seems to be the way to go as well.
I live about 40 minutes from them as well but went to BTS just like Pocket. I work with two guys with ATS trannys and both have had issues. Nothing too major but enough problems for them to approach me and ask about my BTS tranny. They both have been back a couple times to ATS recently for adjustments and fixes to reletively new units.
YES! Go see Rocky if you are in the Denver area. He is an authorized BTS dealer and a good guy. He is the one that put my BTS in. Call him prior to your tranny dying on you. Takes 2 weeks to get one shipped.
And no, it's not the same Rocky as the annoying car commercial ads you see on the local channels here. Those who live in Denver know what I'm talking about
