Can you guys please help me again. I have been having an ongoing problem with my truck shutting down here and there for a quick second. Which I figured out from a previous post that it is probably the fuel pump relay. Well I finally just picked up a new relay. Well my problem is, I can't find where the dang thing is. I checked all my books and it doesn't show it. Does anyone out there have a picture of where this thing is?
Should be near the washer fluid resovoir on the drivers side inner fender. On some trucks I have seen, the relays along with the EEC test connector are mounted on the back side of the bracket that holds the resovoir.
You have a '95, look right below the master cylinder on the drivers side of the truck. There should be a big black box labeled "power distrobution box". Remove the lid and the relays are inside.
I found the power distribution box with all the relays, but none of my manuals tell me which one of the 4 relays is the one for the fuel pump. The only thing in that box that I have found that says anything about fuel is slot #16 which is a fuse.
Oh geez, I am a complete idiot. Thanks dbcooper02. I went and looked at my glove box manual for the hundredth time and there it is. I never noticed that they listed the fuses and relays out on separate pages. I guess I was in a little bit of a hurry to find it and fix it last night in my driveway with a flashlight.
