Well, my 51 F1 right front spring appears sprung. the passenger side is sitting a few inches lower in front than the drivers side.
Ok, I know I need to overhaul the springs and shackles, etc..Might as well do them all. At the same time I'm thinking that I'd like to lower the whole truck about 2-3" but I'm not really sure the best way to go about it. I plan to keep the straight axle up front and eventually go with disk brakes, so with that in mind what do you guys think is the best route. I also use my truck to haul things occaisionally so I don't want to weaken the load capacity too much. I don't carry too heavy of a load in it, you know it's not likely to have a piano in the back, but I may haul some hay or mulch.
Let me know what you think.
