Well last week coming back from Ohio I lost the power brakes in a traffic jam in a 1996 f350 dully. the vacuum hose is not plugged it has vacuum I think it is the power booster or the diaphragm in it? What do you guys think.
I had to replace mine a couple of years ago. I had the same loss of power assist. I would check your vacuum reading first though. The vacuum pump will be cheaper and easier if that is your problem.
You can laso convert it to hydraulic if you want mega brakes. Search here to find info on it. I have seen alot of threads about this. It is alot of work but they say it is worth it.
I start august 20th in high performance how long have you been there? I'm from St. Clair MI
I will test the vacuum tomorrow any idea how much the gauges are?
