BANKS v. MBRP
Ok i am looking at exhaust and i found a bank set up i can buy from my diesel tech lightly used for the same price as the mbrp 409ss 4in turbo back. I know the banks kit sells for around 850. I do like that the banks kit has the mounts welded on to it. I was wondering what you guys thought. thanks for all the input ahead of time.

i have the mbrp on my truck, it was on it when i bought it, and think its a good system. i had the banks on my last diesel and thought it was a good system aswell. you should be impressed with either one, just decide if you want new/used.

I have the 4" MBRP Turbo Back Cool Duels and love them. Welded brackets are nicer but fitment issues arrise sometimes. With moveable brackets you can adjust as needed for perfect fit. I installed myself and had no issues. But like Adambomb said, find the one that you like and go with that.

I have the Banks cat back system. First and only system i've used. The Banks is a quiet system and since i have a young daughter that is a benefit for me. Installed easily and looks nice. I'm very happy with it.

I ran the 4" MBRP on my 04 and its a nice setup, not very loud but a clean fit. On my 06 I am running a 5" Diamond Eye system and its a great fit and a lot louder than the MBRP for sure.
Never ran a Banks system cause they want to much for their products.
