Today I got a forktruck stuck in some grass and had to push it out with my truck. Long story short I need a new bumper. I do use my truck alot to push, pull, move, and otherwise hit things. Im looking at replacment bumpers from ranch hand, sout texas outfitters, ext. But they all look to flashy, I just want a plain black bumper thats going to take a hit, and it needs to have some tow hooks on it. I also dont want any grill guards, just the bumper. Thanks
You could weld up one yourself. Some tube, a welder, and some cutting tools and you're set. It'll take a day, but that's what a lot of guys do with these.
agree with the above.. mine is in very rough shape. Rust, big dents the size of basketballs. I will probably custom fab a bumper along with a winch mount before this fall. I have a few friends who are good welders/fabricators. so it will be a group project. probably just cost me materials and some beer.
Nice i like it.. not over the top with protection but beefy looking.
did you buy it locally?
I got if from a place in new jersey, as there isnt too many places that sell TJM IIRC. www.4x4connection.com Is the site. The model is a T17 bar. I just wanted a bumper, im not a big fan of the big brush guards, although they are effective, i just dont like the looks.

How thick is the steel it is made from??
From frame rail to frame rail, and were the winch mounts, its 3/16. From there out i think its 1/8. I think it will take a good beating, the way its constructed, and the angles built into it, its a pretty tough bumper.
