Turbo Saver Module?

Does anyone run this module for their truck? Found it on the DieselSite

http://www.dieselsite.com/index.asp?...PROD&ProdID=29

Just wondering how effective it is? Seems like it may be kind of handy?
Thanks

I've had mine on my truck for awhile now. Works great, esp after towing.
Plus a good disable switch on it as well.

I checked the time I take to let it cool off. By the time I am at my destination, unstrap myself, it is already at 300-350 deg.

i had a remote starter installed on my truck last winter that has the cool down option you can set how long you want it to contiune to run and it didnt cost that much i think you should explore more avenues before making a choice.
good luck

I have a BD Diesel Cool Down Timer (CDT) from Summit racing that works off the K probe for my pyro. It was $140 and seems to work fine, no complaints. Easy install and comes with all wire and connectors, just no K probe, but if you have a pyro already you should be set. Best of all it is adjustable from 250 deg to 550 deg.

Yeah there are a few other options out there. If you don't have and alarm on your truck and have been thinking about it. There are Co's that make a cool down timer as an option to the alram system. Clifford,Viper etc all have turbo timers that you can set from something like 2-min's-60 mins. I personally have the Clifford w/T.Timer. I really like it. Especailly on long hauls. You can set it as easealy as pushing a button on the remote while the truck is still running, shut off the ignition, pull the key, get out of the truck, lock it remotely and walk away. The remote will also let you know when the truck has been shut down after the predetermind time.It will also start the truck for yah in the morning or when ever you choose to. Makes it nice on hot or chilly days. They will set yah back About $600 installed. Hope this helps yah out. Country.

I bought mine from Bob over a year ago, works very well. I like the anti-theft feature too.
