OK, I've got 2 manual 3 speeds. One came from a '66 Bronco I6. The tag is rusted and unreadable, but the d side casting is C5AR-7006 B and has FOMOCO stamped in front of it. The other 3 speed is a '74 f100 and has ORION stamped on the D-side and C 2603000 behind it. The P side tag says RAB L2 FEMD 10027 Any ideas what they are? the top cover is the same on both. Also upon ID, what kinda torque and HP can these handle, more than 300?
Thanks Bill. I assume the 3.03 is dubbed the 3 sp. top-loader.
Top Loader usually refers to a Ford 4 Speed. It was used to distinguish the Ford 4 speed, first used in 1964 from the Warner T-10 4 speed, used 1961/64.
