I like the idea of a spray in liner because I pull a 5th wheel and should be able to bolt the rails right over top. With a slide in liner I would have to cut it.
As long as there's no rust, they will spray directly over it. I think they said they will sandblast or media blast if your bed is rusted. Once it's sprayed, it's air tight and the bed will never rust. Take a look at the photos on the link below. For you guys with drop in bed liners, take a look underneath it. Don't be surpirsed if it looks like the truck in the photo.
And me...Also full size trucks aren't selling like they used to. So many out there now and with the price of gas it's that much worse. Seems like the only ones buying trucks are people that need them for work or 4x4 junkies. I'm putting up with the fuel mileage for now but it's still far cheaper than paying for a new truck. Have a beater i'll probably get going in the spring.
Man what are some of your guy's mileage? I get pretty decent with my diesel on the highway, where I mostly use it. Especially considering it is a big heavy 4x4 truck.
I dont know what my diesel gets in the city, I never did figure it out. I find it really hard to stay off of the pedal in the city though, its too much fun letting the beast rip and roar.
