Diesel oil question?
I have used Rotella T for awhile on my 93 F250 and now to this day my 99 F350 with no problems, but I was talking to a mechanic and he told me that the newer fords 99 included are real touchy and I should use the ford anti-froth or anti-foam is there any truth to this, or should I keep on using the Rotella T?

I used Rotella in my 2005 and didn't have any problems. If you overfill you will get a problem due to the crankcase turning in the oil creating a foam that, if it gets to the high pressure injector pump, can cause a driveability problem. I plan on using Rotella in my 2008.

Have you ever heard of anyone on this board complain about Rotella?
Not everyone will agree that it is the best, but as far as I can tell not a soul has complained that it caused them a problem. I'd say your safe with it.

Rotella has antifoaming properties as well. No problem using it. Some just recommend a certain oil. I am a big fan of Motorcraft 5w20 in the vehicles that use them, and recommend it over other 5w20 oils. Sometimes I even use it in my Saturn, and I swear it gets better mileage. But with the rate my Saturn uses oil (they almost all do), I usually just use something really cheap.
