New Guy Needs Bumper

Well I am new here, I haven't owned a Ford in a long time, I'm mostly a dodge guy but I just traded my 95 dodge neon for a 77 Ford F100. The truck is super clean and has had a ton of work done to it, but its missing a rear bumper. I checked out LMC and a new bumper is a bit out of my price range, I was hoping you guys could help me out with some advice.

Also on the headlight wiring, I found that Painless has a complete kit with the relays and instructions and everything for like 40 bucks.

Depending on where you are at I've got a coupole for sale for $15 each. Most likely you are probably far away in which case a junk yard is a very good place to start.

Nah... I'm in Elgin IL, just west of Chicago... But thanks. I was going to check the junk yards, but vehicles of this era are far and few between.

that all depends on where you are. They are plentiful in the yards out here...

We're idiots out here, we salt our roads, so cars don't last. I don't know about ford as much, but I know that Chevy trucks from this era are all but extinct around here.

not idiots - just dealing with snow in a way that makes it easier fo idiots to drive on it

The trucks are usually rust buckets back there, but the bumpers seem to last WAAAAY longer than the thin sheetmetal.

I'd be open to shipping one of my bumpers, but it think it would kill your wallet - hahaha

If you check ebay, there are some vendors. THere are some pretty cheap repops out there. Probaably in the $100 range. THese are basic stamped steel, and aren't going to win any contests, they are what they are.
