smog pump removal

I have a 85 f250 351w 4bbl 2wd pu with dual smog pumps.I am replacing the engine with a new rebuilt engine and am wondering if anyone has gotten rid of the emission system and had any drivability or perfomance problems.I don't know whether to keep the system or not."please help" Thanks

smog pump removal

I dropped my smog pump and associated hardware and I don't miss it!!! Make sure you get the head inserts to plug off the air pipe holes in the back of the head.
