Like PROSTOCK did, my Dad also added a set of the '05-'07 style V10 front fender badges to his 2008 pickup. Before, you'd really have to be up close to squint to see what the truck has under the hood. What Ford should do(in my opinion....not that it counts,but...) is use the 5.4L vents, which are void of any engine designation, and bring back the V10 front fender badges to their rightful place!
Well, I stuck some on there. Actually looks pretty good. Now people ask me about my motor, like when i had my '05.
I wonder how it would look directly under the big F250 badge? I know we are used to seeing it up front but it may not look bad below the vent. Anyone good at photo shop?
Anybody know the factory part #s for the all-chrome versions of the '99-'04, and '05-'07 V10 emblems? I hear they are more expensive than the black&chrome ones. Thanks.
Thanks, krewat, I remember people doing that with emblems. While, I didn't find Ford part#s for the all-chrome versions, I found a website, www.fordemblems.com, that sells them.
