I like that fender badge You put on. Looks factory. And, you will eliminate the questions is it gas or diesel? or, is it a V-8 or V-10..Lots of wasted oxygen being consumed without those fender badges. What's the matter with Ford anyway?

Definitely a good addition to your SD! Just a suggestion, but might want to add a V10 badge to your tailgate as well. Just to show it off!

I've been looking around for different badges and came across these decals on eBay and thought of adding them to the hood

I really like the ones from E-bay also, I'm thinking about adding them too.

I just did a search on Ebay for V10 emblems/badges. These are Ford Factory emblems, brand new but out of the package, so i don't have a part number. The seller I bought them from only had the two I bought. They were $14 each. Parts counter price is around $35 each.

On edit; you can also find them at www.fordemblem.com

I had a set of custom made billet badges, waiting for all the pieces before I post pics up. I talked to Steve at billetbadges, and he was able to come up with a drawing with what I wanted, a little pricey ($92) but it is what I wanted. just need to find a new tailgate now......

I had some guy start talking to me at a gas pump one day. Was telling me how the Ford V10 was really Lamborghini technology licensed from them. I've tried to find something on this, but was unable to see anything either way.

Nice he had something positive to say even if he was "positively wrong". The V10 is based off the 4.6L & the 5.4L Triton engines.

Maybe he was referring to the split-pin crank? Still, I would think Ford could have come up with that "better idea" themselves.

I'm having lunch with a friend of mine today who wants to see the split-pin crank on my truck. I had found one on eBay for $100 and told him if he bought i we could take a look at it... he responded by saying he wanted to drop my oil pan. My response: "NO!"

i hear ya there..........."chrome don't get ya home"

granted some of the stuff looks good, but just alittle to much for emblems. some of them loog great, but i figure the ones that came on my truck havn't fallen off yet, so i don't need to replace them yet, hahaha!
