429 in 79' F-600 4x4 same block as car 460?

I recently acquired a 79 F-600 4x4. I just finished shortening the frame for an 8 foot bed but have some engine ?s. The truck had a 429 originaly which is MIA. I found the front motor mount as it does not have the side ones like in a regular pickup. I want to put the built 460 out of my F150 into the truck but want to make sure they are the same. The only thing throwing me off is the bellhousing is not round at the bottom, The top to the starter is the same as a 460 but the sides go straight down and then stop and there is a big pan that goes on the bottom any advice would help?

its the same d9te block as the 1979+ pickups had, so the car block will bolt up, but the original 429 had a forged crank, about 7.9-1 compression, special 8qt oil pan, and a bigger crank snout. thats about all the differences i know about. maybe someone else knows more.
