clutch adjustment
can anyone tell me if there is anyway to adjust the clutch . i have to press it all the way into the floor HARD, to start the truck .then it also seems like i have to press further than i think i should to shift gears. i was told the clutch was just replaced when i bought the truck last week. Its a 97 F250 HD 4x4 with the 7.3

no adjustment, check your bushings for the pedal and pedal box. sounds like there wore out. also with a new clutch your disengagement point is gonna be dang near the bottom of the pedal. if your pedal bushing is wore out i and some other people have replaced it with a heim joint so you dont have to deal with the stupid plastic bushing anymore.

There is no adjustment of clutch linkage or clutch pedal position (CPP) is required. But there is a bushing that may need to be replaced. It is under the dash.
Did they replace the master & slave cylinder when the clutch was replaced?
